BMT College Student Lockdown Arrangements

BMT College has always been a distance education institution. So, you can study from home, or wherever you are. There are no exams, as you complete all your assignments online where we verify and authenticate your work. We had to make some arrangements to accommodate for the lockdown, but simply put, you will be able to continue uninterrupted with your studies at BMT College.

For registered students: Virtual Campus and Zoom

Yes, the registrations for the second semester are now open and you can register directly online at www.bmtcollege.ac.za, or complete the registration form and send that to info@bmtcollege.ac.za. We will process your registration within 2 – 3 working days if you have completed the registration form in full. If you have left out information (like your banking details for payment) then it will take longer to process your registration.

You will be able to start with your studies immediately after we have processed your registration, and we have received your first payment. You do not have to wait for the lockdown to end.

No, the registrations for the first semester of 2021 will open in October 2020.

For registered students: Virtual Campus and Zoom

You will not be able to visit the College Campus in person. All other normal College functions are available. You will still be able to register for your course, study online, get assistance from your lecturer, pay accounts, download your study guides, complete your assignment, contact the College, and do everything you would normally do to study for success with BMT College.

All textbooks are available in electronic format from the publishers’ websites. (Please refer to the latest prescribed textbook list for links to textbooks.

Assignments are completed directly on the Virtual Campus. You can complete your assignments using a computer or a smartphone.

In response to the lockdown, BMT College has postponed its annual study fee increase. The “Early Bird” registration for the 2020 second semester will be available for a limited time until the end of June 2020, or before that, subject to availability.

No. The Early Bird Registration is a limited offer. If the first payment is not received within 30 days from registration, the offer will be made available to other students.

The purpose of the Special Cohort Intake is to provide financial assistance to students with an extended payment plan. The special cohort will also have an extended study calendar.
